Development of Surface Water Management Ordinance (2010)
Public Input
The project process outlines the different groups that will assist in the development of the ordinance. Public input will be a part of the overall process with numerous times and methods available for the public to acquire information and to pass along ideas and feedback.
There will be multiple opportunities for public input to the ordinance development process, including open houses, public meetings/hearings, and online resources (this site). Information and public event dates will be posted on this page as they become available.
Opportunity for Public Input
A number of questions were posed to participants of the Advisory Group and Community meetings held the evening of June 9, 2010. Those who were unable to attend the meeting can still submit responses to the questions (or any other comments about the stormwater ordinance development) by filling out any or all of the fields in the Policy Question document. Please return printed responses in person or by mail to the Engineering Dept. or email them to engineering@ci.northfield.mn.us. We will consider any responses received by Friday June 18, 2010 as we develop the next draft of the ordinance and Spring Creek Policy document.
