Police Explorers
POLICE EXPLORER FIRST NIGHTER OPEN HOUSE
There will be a Police Explorer Open House for interested young people on Sunday, June 12th. Parents are encouraged to attend as well. This informational meeting will be held at the Safety Center from 3 - 5 PM. Those eligible to participate in the Explorer Program must be at least 14 years of age and have completed 8th grade, all the way up to age 20.

Explorers participate as volunteers to work with our staff in many functions. They wear a distinctive uniform and assist with many events throughout the year. They help with traffic control, crowd control, security and communications, to name a few. Our Explorers also compete in state and national Explorer competitions each year traveling across the US at various sites during national competitions.
