Dial-A-Ride Service

Call Dial-A-Ride for curb-to-curb bus service between requested locations. You will be given the first available time based on demand and other schedules. Two-hour advance reservation requested for Dial-A-Ride service.

Fares

Standard Fare: $1.00 One Way
Jefferson Lines Connection: $4.00 One Way
(Exact fare required when boarding. Drivers do not carry change.)

Fare tokens are sold in packages of 10 for $10 and may be purchased at all Northfield banks, the Northfield Manor, Three Links Apartments, the Northfield Community Resource Center, Cub Foods, EconoFoods and City Hall.

Children six years and under ride free with an adult. Limit two per adult. Fares are subject to change without notice.

Holiday Schedule

Northfield Transit services are suspended on New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and after 12pm on Christmas Eve Day. Reduced service may precede or follow holidays.

Accessible Buses

Northfield Transit buses are lift-equipped. Drivers are trained and certified to assist passengers who need help getting on and off the bus. Riders are requested to call 24 hours in advance for lift service.
