• Manufactured Home Acquisition Program - Guidelines and Application (PDF)

Provides up to $5000 towards the purchase of a new(er) manufactured housing unit(s) or towards the purchase of a traditional single family home. Also covers all costs associated with the removal of an older, non-code-compliant unit. Contact the HRA office for more information about the program and application process.

• Manufactured Home Repair - Grant Application & Guidelines (PDF)

This program provides a source of funds to assist and encourage owners of manufactured homes to upgrade and improve their existing homes. The City of Northfield is able to provide up to $2000 for repairs to roofs, windows, doors, heating systems and floor supports, among other things. These funds can also be used to pay down an insurance deductible or be combined with Weatherization funds from Energy Assistance. Contact the HRA office for more information and an application.

• 2009-Homestretch Schedule (PDF)

This is a 0% interest, deferred loan program that provides 50% of downpayment assistance or 100% of closing cost assistance, up to $5,000 to first time homebuyers.
