The Northfield Public Library offers hundreds of events, classes and programs for people of all ages during the year.  Check the calendar for upcoming events. 

Author Visits:  Minnesota's many talented writers have created a rich literary heritage.  Authors of books for children, teens and adults have appeared at the library.  To find out about upcoming author visits, check the Reader's Corner or the calendar.

Books & Stars is a uniquely Northfield program of free, family entertainment offered in parks around the city on Wednesday evenings during June, July and early August. Booker the Book Bus will be parked near the Showmobile, allowing audience members to check out books or return library materials before or after the show. Check the calendar or Children's Events for more information call the library at 507-645-6606.

 Grammy-nominated artist performs at Books and Stars.  Lunch bunch - children hear stories while eating lunch  Carnegie Concert- Fang Tango
Grammy-nominated singer/song writer Justin Roberts thrills a large audience at a summer Books & Stars program.  The Lunch Bunch listens to stories and watches films during the Summer Reading Program. Fang Tango performs at an evening Carnegie Concert in the Library.
