Four of Northfield’s parks have picnic shelters that can be rented by the public between May and October. Reservations are taken after January 1 for the coming rental season and must be made at least one month in advance of rental date.
The charge for a 1 to 4 hour rental is $45. The charge for an all day rental is $65. All reservations require a $100 damage deposit. Check will be destroyed after shelter has been inspected and found acceptable. Damage deposit and rental fee must be received seven business days after reservation was placed to secure rental date and time. Cancellations require 72-hour notice.
