Phase 1 Simione Court, Nelson Court, Kimble Court, Hackerson Court, Grundhoefer Court, Eklund Court, Covey Court, Lockwood Drive, Gill Lane, Zanmiller Drive, and Bluestem Court
City Staff mailed letters to all properties on Phase 1 last week requesting Resident/Property Owner meetings with all properties on Phase 1 to discuss the upcoming construction project. City Staff has set aside half-hour blocks of time next week to meet with property owners at their individual properties, to discuss the construction schedule, and effect to each individual property. If you haven't scheduled your meeting yet, please contact Nate Becker, (507) 645-3072 to schedule a meeting. Nate will be providing construction observation and coordination throughout the construction project.
Staff held a Preconstruction Conference with Heselton Construction, LLC. of Faribault, MN last week. At this pre-con meeting, Heselton Construction submitted a schedule, which included a start date of August 19, 2019 for Phase 1. A more detailed update will be sent out next week outlining the proposed work that will be completed during the week of August 19.
Additionally this week, City Staff put together a project brochure detailing additional information about the project including schedules and anticipated work This brochure will be mailed out today to all properties on the entire project. Please take the time to read this brochure, as it contains important information about the Construction Project.
Phase 2Third Street, Fourth Street, Armstrong Road, Forest Avenue, Forest Avenue Loop, Poplar Street, Plum Street, and Orchard Street
Phase 2 of the project is not scheduled to begin until the Spring of 2020. An additional pre-con will be held next Spring prior to construction start-up, and resident meetings will be held at that time for properties adjacent to Phase 2 to discuss project schedule for the Spring of 2020.
As mentioned above, City Staff will be mailing out a Project Brochure to all properties on the Project today, please take the time to read this brochure, as it contains important information about the Construction Project.
